Trapped Key Spring Handle Tongue Interlock with Two Personnel Keys and Lockout Dustcover
The M-HT-T-12-LT Trapped Key Interlock features a spring-loaded handle-locking mechanism that remains locked when the primary key is removed. Inserting and turning the correct coded key releases two personnel keys, unlocks the handle, and allows access to the safeguarded area. The released personnel keys should be carried into the safeguarded area by authorised personnel, helping to reduce the risk of inadvertent machine start-up while access is required. An integrated lockout dust cover provides four additional holes for LOTO procedures.

Key sold separately
Please note that for trapped key access locks, either a key or an actuator must be ordered with the product. This is required for manufacturing, as the internal mechanism must be configured to trap one of these parts. For assistance, please contact the IDEM Sales team.
