Trapped Key Spring Handle Interlock with Single Key
The M-HT Trapped Key Interlock is a safety mechanism that operates using a spring-loaded handle lock mechanism. This locking mechanism is activated when the key is removed, securing the hazardous area. Access to the hazardous area is granted by inserting and turning the appropriate key to unlock the handle. To ensure long-term reliability, there is an anti-tamper cam system built into the M-HT interlock.

Please note that for trapped key access locks, either a key or an actuator must be ordered with the product. This is required for manufacturing, as the internal mechanism must be configured to trap one of these parts. For assistance, please contact the IDEM Sales team.
