KL3-SS Guard Locking Safety Switch
The KL3-SS guard-locking safety interlock features a slimline, mirror-polished 316 stainless steel body and a holding force of up to 3000 N, helping keep medium to large guard doors securely closed until hazards have been removed.
The KL3-SS is suitable for applications requiring strict washdown procedures, including high-temperature, high-pressure washing and exposure to corrosive cleaning chemicals.
Manufactured from Mirror Polished 316 Grade Stainless Steel

Functions as a power-to-unlock device
Rotating head for up to 8 entry positions
Ingress Protection up to IP69K
3 x M20 or ½” NPT (quick connect available)

Use 16-28AWG stranded copper conductors (rated 90°C).

Use one polymeric conduit connection.
Not suitable for connection to rigid metal conduit
(Earth bonding terminal inside enclosure if required).

Internal selector switch to be used as either power feed to LED 2 or as a voltage free auxiliary circuit to indicate the lock status.
Suitable for Splash Zones in accordance with EHEDG guidelines.
