Trapped Key Bolt Interlock with Single Key
The M-BS Trapped Key Interlock operates by using a locking bolt mechanism, which is extended when the key is removed. Inserting and turning the appropriate key retracts the bolt, allowing access to the hazardous area. Alternatively, the M-BS can be used for power interlocking on switchgear, directly interfering with the cam. When the key is inserted, it becomes “trapped” in the lock, preventing the switchgear from being energized until the key is released
Notă importantă
It is important that when the bolt is retracted, it is held captive until the guard is closed. If you can extend the bolt whilst the guard is open, you are at risk of serious harm.
